Amigos is currently delivering on its mission of community-based design using sustainable principles in several exciting projects. We are helping residents to make their neighborhood safe for the new Lashbrook Park that they are designing with us. Native Tongva tribe members, Latino history experts, and the local historical society are collaborating with us to make Rio Vista Cultural & Historic Park. We are leading the way in restoring California's urban waterways by studying the feasibility of naturalizing two Rio Hondo tributaries. Amigos designers are engaging residents in designing "The Best Bus Shelters of the World" in a test project along a one-mile stretch of Peck Road. Finally, we are facilitating a stakeholder collaborative process to build a word class urban river park loop connecting the Rio Hondo to the San Gabriel River.
